Climate Change is⏤a Fact.

Our Story

It began with a simple text message: “Hey bro, I’ve got a startup idea. Wanna hear the pitch?” From that casual line, Diantara was born.

Fatin Nadhirah founded Diantara in 2025, fresh from her two years in Chicago, where she pursued her second Master’s degree and spent her summers interning with a climate change and sustainability organization. Those experiences lit a fire in her — a realization that the climate crisis wasn’t just an academic subject, but a deeply human story that needed to be told differently.

Back in Malaysia, she spends her time tracking local climate issues and saw a gap: global conversations were loud, but often overlooked the lived realities of the Southeast Asia communities. That became the seed of an idea. So, she reached out to her brother, Hidayat Jamalolail—Creative Director with a restless imagination. Together, they build something in between: a space where research and storytelling meet; where science is translated into narratives that resonate; and where climate change is not only academic, but personal.

Today, Fatin leads Diantara as Founder and Principal Researcher, while Hidayat brings his creative lens as former Chief Creative Officer of INVOKE. Side by side, they bridge systems, cultures, and communities—in hopes of building a future where people and planet are seen together.

Our Vision

Grounded realities in building a sustainable future, from Southeast Asia to the world.

Our Manifesto

We tell our own stories; from our perspectives and lived realities. By owning the narrative, we break free from Western narratives and shape how the world should understands us.

The world is not one but many. We embrace all cultures, communities and ways of thinking, seeing strength in differences and diversity.

Change doesn’t happen alone. We move forward by working hand-in-hand—sharing skills, knowledge, and ideas to co-create solutions that are greater than the sum of our parts.

We commit to fairness and care. Every voice matters and every person deserves a place in the future. True progress means lifting everyone, not just a few.
